I recently got to host a Luau for our awesome RS ladies for our annual Summer Social, and I love how it turned out! We had big plans to turn the backyard into the perfect tropical paradise, but since there have been so many fires around us lately and it was super windy and super smokey outside, we ended up bringing this party indoors at the last minute. We improvised a bit on the decorating, but on the bright side, all my candles stayed lit and there were no bugs in our food! Here's a look at what we've been up to:
For our Tiki Bar we had 3 drinks to chose from. Citrus Cooler--a mix of orange, lemon and lime. Hawiian Punch, and Pineapple Lemonade--a mix of Sprite, lemonade, and pineapple juice. YUM.
These Pina Colada Cupcakes were AMAZING!!!
I found this Caramelized Maui Onion Dip recipe HERE. I don't even like onions and this turned out to be really good. And yes, I realize I spelled it wrong on the food tents--woops!
